What does the Board do? According to TFC's bylaws: The role of the Board of Directors includes:
Establishing TFC’s policies
Supervising the direction and management of TFC's affairs
Approving the expenditures of money for salaries of teachers or otherwise
Setting tuition fees
Establishing TFC’s long-term goals
Hiring and evaluating the Co-Directors
Seeking to improve the condition of TFC
Tenure is two years. There’s no limit to the number of terms you can take
Open Board Positions
Currently (March 2025) our Board is searching for a Treasurer
Treasurer's Role:
In charge of TFC’s financial affairs, funds, budget, securities, and valuable papers and shall keep full and accurate records thereof. They shall also be in charge of its books of account and accounting records and of its accounting procedures.
We have various committees that are open to community members as well.
